We clean our homes to protect our families and give them a safe place. Having a child going though chemotherapy I became a “clean freak”. Bleach & Lysol were my best friends in my quest to get rid of germs. The problem is the products I was using to do this were in fact doing more harm to my kids rather than keeping them safe. Take a look at the ingredients in all of your cleaning products. Most cleaning products are using chemical agents that are carcinogens, environmental toxins aka cancer-causing agents. The lungs of everyone in your household are exposed to the fumes in your cleaning products. Unless you are wearing protective gloves your skin is exposed as well, doubling your risk. Everyday cleaning products that we have all grown up with are now being linked to many illnesses including cancer, asthma and allergies.

Think you can’t live without all those products under your sink, well think again. There is a way to keep your house clean and your family safe at the same time. Below you will find helpful tips on how to clean the toxic free way! At the end of this journey you will not only be free of all those chemicals which will have you breathing better and feeling better when cleaning your house, but you will also be keeping your family safe.
